There was a school board meeting in Montgomery County Tuesday to address an issue that has many parents concerned: Brenda Drake with Montgomery County Public Schools sent a letter out to parents regarding a man who was picked up by the U.S. Marshal service only feet away from the school.
Problems from the park-and-ride bus stop have been a concern for parents at Falling Branch Elementary School for almost a year now. In the past, the school has had people who are waiting in the parking lot for the Megabus coming on to school property looking to use the school's facilities and bathrooms.
Since then, the school has put up "no trespassing" signs, but Tuesday an incident that was out of the school's control caused a traffic disruption.
Parents tell us that a man who was a passenger on the Megabus was taken off by gun point by the U.S. Marshal service.
Several parents spoke out Tuesday about this issue, and say they plan on taking the matter to the state level and are really pushing to have this park-and-ride moved to a different location.
