First Fridays kicks off its 26th season tonight at Center In The Square. Robotic Jive provides the music for this indoor venue change. Saturday, give a taste test of some award winning beers at For The Love of the Brew. It's Roanoke's Rare Beer Festival at the historic City Market Building with a showcase on short run and seasonal beers not regularly available in Roanoke. Your general admission pass gets you 15 tastings for just $25 and there will, of course, be amazing food from the restaurants in the City Market Building plus plenty of live music. Got one for the family. The MDA Car Show is in its 34th year. Catch it all weekend at the Roanoke Civic Center. More classic cars, clubs, the local racing section, an automotive flea market, a model car contest and a silent auction. All proceeds benefit MDA and adults are in for just $12 with kids' tickets at $3, but six-year-olds and younger get in free.
