A Floyd County winery announces it will expand its product into parts of Tennessee.
Chateau Morrisette Winery, known for its distinctive black dog label, will now sell wine in central and western Tennessee.
Winery owners say this increased exposure will also lead to a boost in Floyd-area tourism. Many of their visitors are from out of state, and they often like to explore other wineries across the region.
Chateau Morrisette's general manager, George Weldon, says this expansion will likely lead to more jobs at the winery, which already employs about 125 people.
