UPDATE: Crash on Interstate 81 in Montgomery Co.

UPDATE: 9:05 am. 

We're told one person was transported by Lifeguard 10 to the hospital. The accident involved a tractor trailer and an ambulance. All lanes are now back open.

8:40 a.m.

511 Virginia reports that one lane has reopened after a tractor trailer accident on Interstate 81 near mile marker 120 southbound  in Montgomery County.

Emergency crews are still on the scene.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY (WSLS)-- All lanes on Interstate 81 southbound are closed this morning due to a tractor trailer accident at mile marker 119.8 in Montgomery County.

The south center and right lanes are closed at this time. Traffic backups are at least one mile.

Montgomery County police and Fire EMS are on scene.
